-Alley is my girl, she is what they call a heart dog. In my opinion, your heart dog is that once in a lifetime – maybe twice if you’re truly blessed – soul mate dog. He or she is the one you click with similarly to, but different from, how people in love click. There’s an understanding, a bond stronger than most, and a special level of communication. Your heart dog “gets” you and you get him or her right back.
She is a blue. Her conformation is close to breed standard. Alley is extremely intelligent and loves problem solving; she loves the performance rings and I hope to get many titles on her. She is a UKC Grand Champion. Alley has a very high retrieving drive and a natural marker. Alley now has her CD level one obedience title. She has her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and CGCU ( Canine Good Citizen Urban). She has earned her AKC Novice standard agility title and is working on her novice Jumps with Weaves title.. She has her lure coursing ability title. She earned her Rally Advanced Excellent title. She has earned 3 of the 4 needed passes towards her SHR (Started Hunting Retriever) title.
Alley is my Service Dog. She has a couple pups and multiple grand-pups and great grand pups currently in or working as training as Service Dogs, also multiple pups and grand pups training as service and therapy dogs.
Alley has produced 3 UKC Champion daughters, an AKC Champion son , 3 UKC Champion sons, as well as a son that is a UKC Grand Champion and was #2 in UKC top 10 standard poodles for 2013. One of her daughters is a service dog and also an Altered UKC GRCH. She has multiple UKC champion and grand champion grand-puppies.
Alley is retired from breeding, we shall continue to compete in
performance events together.
