Parti Pattern.
A Parti Poodle is solid colored dog with the white spotting gene. This Pattern is unique in that dogs may have very similar but very rarely identical making. Parti poodles can come in any other color or Pattern. Parti is a recessive gene so both parents must carry the Parti gene to get Parti pups, because of this you can go generations without seeing a Parti puppy in a bloodline. This was one of the original patterns of the standard poodle, you can see several historical prints of Parti poodles.

 Tuxedo Pattern
The Tuxedo pattern is genetically a Parti however this particular version is desirable by those that show for it uniformity. A tuxedo will usually have a white bib that may or may not go all the way around the neck, and they have an all white belly.
The white will usually extend from the elbows down to the feet and from the hock to the rear foot. However, you can have some variation in this with one or two legs not having any white at all, and some legs being all white.
Some of them have markings in the head and some not.

Ticking
The ticking gene is unusual, its not fully understood yet, Its not linked to the Parti gene but is only seen on Parti poodles. Dogs that have ticking do not show the ticking at birth, it develops over time it can take up to a year for the ticking  to finish developing. You can have light ticking with just a couple of spots here and there to very heavy ticking where the spots merge until the dog almost appears to be solid in color.
